If he cant take the time to take a quick pic to satisfy a possible customer then it sounds like he doesn't want to sell the snake that bad.

I agree. But even so. If its legit its a good deal and a nice snake.

"I am sorry I sent the below email. I am having a rough day and took it out on you. Any purchase is a valuable one to the owner and I am sorry I made it sound like you were not important regardless of the price of the snake. If you still want me to take a pic with an email I will make time. If not I understand. Unfortunately that is the only pic I took of that animal and is my last pastel. You can either call me or let me know you still want me to take a pic and I will accomiadiate. I am sorry about the below email it is not like me.....

Hope you understand...."

............. well.... I wonder what made him notice so soon that he didnt respond in a good way...

at least he realized that what he said wasnt helping him sell his snake. Its good he apologized. I would just ask him for a pic of the snake and a paper with his number and email on it or something.

It just might be he has read this thread.
If it is one you want ask him to send a couple of pictures to you.

Just wanted to point out that while Paypal won't do much with a live animal dispute, if you don't receive a package at all, they will refund your money.

Thats sort of what I was thinking. That would be random though.

So...whether PayPal will refund you or not is kind of tricksty.

If you pay for something and you do not receive anything...and the buyer doesn't produce a tracking number that says the package was delivered, then PayPal will usually refund you.

However, the problem comes when the scammer sends you any package at all. He could send you an empty box, and as long as he can show that he shipped a package to your PayPal address and it was delivered, then you probably won't get refunded.

That's how it seems to happen. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

As for the guy selling the snake, since he apologized and you really want the snake, I'd do the pic with current newspaper thing. If he follows through, then you're probably okay.

i heard that if you receive an empty box they say its a successfull transaction

he got back to me with another pic with his # by it. Its deffinatley the same snake. Looks different then the first pic but still looks nice. the first pic the black was really light for some reason and looked greyish so the blushing looked way more intense. he says hes gonna send me more pics tomorrow too. :gj:
