Re: Problems that maybe someone more experienced could help with?
I've had him for about four to five days now. Do you think it will be an issue that I've been handling him even before he got acclimated to his new environment?

I had found a thermostat that I'm going to order offline.

By bringing the probe down to his belly-temp the thermometer reads about 93 now on his warm side. I threw away the spray bottle that they gave me and just got a normal one with water that I'm keeping by his tank.

Everything seems to be going in a good direction right now =] Thank you.

issue would depend on him, I tell people to try to see the difference between hiding and exploring when their out. if their darting around and trying to hide. their stressed and you should only handle them in short sessions, if hes new, best leave him alone for a few days then go with short handling sessions if he seems stressed. If hes just exploring checking things out, cruising around at his own leisure, handled him as long as you want, as long as he doesn't get cold.

you just don't want to stress the little guy out. new eviroments can do that by themselves, pulling him out of the cage just adds to it. pay attention to how he acts. some snakes are easily stressed, some don't give a crap. can go eigher way.

temps sound like their just fine then, thermostat will keep everything A-OK. sounds like your doing pretty good.
