i was wondering the same thing. can u over feed your BP? cuz ive started out feeding my yearling 1 mouse and over the past month have upped it to three mice because she seems like she wants more. and now even at three she still is real aggressive after the third mouse.

Yes! It is possible. There is something called power feeding where a breeder feeds the snake every 2-4 days in order to get them up to breeding weight. IMO, it is an unhealthy practice for the snake. The most often I would feed is every 5 days. Any less than that can lead to health complications in the future.

Same! One of my dogs is so obese. He would happily eat himself to death and I often catch him finishing off my other dogs dinners. It can't be because hes hungry because he gets a large ammount himself. Animals don't know when their next meal is coming, our snakes dont know we have a freezer full of mice/rats so I guess they take what they are given so they have a fat storage incase of emergancy.

Power feeding is when you put another feeder in the snakes mouth as it is finished the first one.

Feeding every 2-4 days is not considered power feeding unless you are feeding the snake more than it actually wants to eat.

At least, this is what I was lead to believe.
