i would recommend it bc its cheaper (or free if u get the paper haha)
it's way easier to clean, and it's way easier to spot where the grossness is.

i use paper towells for the same reasons, bc i dont get the paper ^-^.

Ok i winded up buying a big bag and decided to go back to newspaper because i HATE aspen. It gets in their mouths when eating, its as hard as hell to clean their crap. Im saying with regular newspaper because its free and easy to use and clean

I use both paper towels and aspen, and some snakes just gotta have aspen...:P
This is her favorite spot, lol.

I use Premier Pet brand from petco, I found there to be alot less dust compared to shredded aspen, which I thought I liked, till I used this stuff.

    aspen VS newspaper type paper!!
SO I use aspen....my BPs coil up and basically push all the aspen to the sides! Would it be better just to use newspaper type paper in my tubs? Or is this normal behavior for BPs to push everything out of their way?

Seems to me its a waste of money to put aspen in the tub if all the snake does is push it away from them to lay directly on the bin....BUT...the cleaning aspect is much easier! Spot cleaning compared to changing the whole piece of paper seems easier! :D
