She does not like it

you know its not really hard at all. I hook her and pull her out and I have my big rubbermaid tub that I use to put the big guys in while Im cleaning there cages and I sit her down in that shut the top and clean her cage out. Then I hook her and put her back into her cage. Shes not very bad on the hook (just fast) And she hardly ever hoods when shes out of her cage. Shes almost like a completly different snake. When shes in her cage she hoods all the time and is very defensive. But when shes out of her cage in the rubbermaid or on the table shes not denfensive at all just very curious

Is it more dangerous hooking her or grasping her behind the head? I don't do venomous but she sure is a looker.

I'm sure grasping her is more dangerous, hooking isn't dangerous, well let me rephrase that. It's not as dangerous, as long as you have a good bit of experience doing it, and know your snakes pretty well. Some can be very fast. Others can be hard to hook.

I think hooking her is fairly easy. Especially when you have two hooks. At this stage shes so small it would very hard for me to grab her behind the head without either me getting bitten or me hurting her.

Just my .02 cents: She's a beautiful animal! I think personally they are highly misunderstood, if I was able to I'd keep it, too. Unfortunately, this state is such a babysitter.

there is no reason to grab them behind the head, that is only needed when your milking them which the average venomous keeper has no reason to do that. or if you treating them for any medical reason. thats what hooks and the other tools are for

I disagree. Sometimes, like when an animal needs medical care, or the animal is not cooperative with a hook you must pin it and take control of the head.
