How about...."What's next?" I'm sure if you let him do that he's gonna want bigger and better things next. Guess what? Your gonna give it to him because you let him do that! Why not the next thing? Huh mom? Come on mom you used to be cool, what happened to you? Hey mom wanna go out drinking with my friends and I tonight? Hey mom my friends and I are just gonna hang out here tonight and party. Hey mom why don't you buy some alcohol for me and my friends tonight? It's ok because your gonna be here with us and that makes it ok for you to contribute to all the neighbor kids!!! I had friends with moms like you. I watched them play thier moms like puppets. Don't get me wrong it's your child you do what you want. I'll keep my opinions to myself.....

We can lighten up a little bit here....yes? I know newer folks may not know Aleesha, and when you don't know someone, it's easy to make assumptions about their parenting styles/skills based on a few typed words. Maybe I can set minds at ease....this coming from a very conservative mom who would never allow something like this in her own home....

Aleesha knows what she's doing...and she knows her kids. This isn't a case of an airhead young mother who doesn't know any better...nor a case of a milk-toast mother who lets her kids run roughshod over her. She's cool...and her kids are, too. And if she's comfortable allowing her 15 year old to do something like this, then I, for one, just wish I were as clever as dr. del in coming up with funny ideas to offer her!
