I think you want them for the wrong reasons. The message im geting from these to quotes are. You only want them so you can breed them, and then make some cash from the babies. But to you there is no point of buying them unless you can sell the babies. Why dont you get them but just dont breed them? That way you have a cool pair of carpets, and you dont have to worry about careing for a bunch of babies or trying to sell them. Doest that sound like a good plane?

Re: Jungle Carpets Pythons
Since you're new to Carpets you could also consider just getting a single animal to see how you like em. I've had animals that I really wanted and found out that I didn't really enjoy keeping them. If you get a really good quality female you can always pick up a male later if you love keeping them and want to breed.

Like Colin said, they are great, but if you are looking to sell babies, most people might rather have nice yellow babies. Then again, some people are looking for an inexpensive carpet regardless of how it looks as an adult.
Just my 2 cents.
Justin
BTW, that's one smokin animal!~

Re: Jungle Carpets Pythons
nah, i don't see it personally... i'd skip it and look for something else if you're serious about owning some adult carpets.
this pair... they're cheap, but you don't even know what you're buying now... which means that if you get babies, you can't responsibly even tell someone what you're selling them, ya know?

Re: Jungle Carpets Pythons
Okay,
Everyone. I like them alot I think there nice and all but I just want to clarify if there Jungles or not. Ovi there not. I would want to breed them one day thats why I ask if they would sell at all. I don't want to have have 20 Carpet babies thats just to much carpets for me.

Re: Jungle Carpets Pythons
also if your in it just for the money don't waste your time with cheap normals. you most likely won't make your money back. You want to look at morphs such as jags tiger zebras granites ect. only different between raising a morph and a normal is the cost of the animal, feeding, heating, care taking all cost the same.
but personally, if you just into it for the money, i think theres alot of other hobbies without such a risk (animal dies, slow grower, won't breed, bad eggs, babies won't eat, ect.) and much bigger payout per time/money invested.
Personally I own a 1.1 high yellow pair of jungles and love them. alot more personality than a ball python. but I didn't get them for the money, Jungles are one of the snakes that got me into this hobby. I plan on getting a jag female (even better would be a jungle/jag cross), again not for the money, but i want to see my males yellow in jag form :-).
my advise, if you want to get into jungles and breed them for the hell of it. get a pair of high yellows, one of the best looking non-morph snakes IMO, and you should be able to sell babies (but don't plan on being in the profit zone). If you in it for the money, another hobby might not disappoint you as much.
and to answer your question, most people look for 2 kinds of jungles high yellow and black and white, those do not fit eigher. tho a high yellow as a baby won't be yellow, they grow into it. my little guy.... no resent pictures, hes even got a little more yellow now. check out the parents to see how your carpet will most likly look

They are either C/D grade jungles or mutts. I'd actually vote the former rather than the latter.

IMHO, if you want to make money with carpets, don't go with morphs... get a trio of real nice jungles from very well known lines. i see more jungles going for astronomical prices with guys sold out by the time labor day rolls around than any morphs. you get two clutches of sweet jungles and you just raked in $11k after a $1k investment.
all too often, morphs are just hoop dreams... or pyramid scams.
anyway, i digress, i'm in love with the brown carpets (mcdowelli).

Re: Jungle Carpets Pythons
Those Look Very VERY IJ to me....just sayin.
Colin Hit some awewome points!

Re: Jungle Carpets Pythons
Id Agree with Colin Hands down, selectively bred jungles are worth a lot more than this morph stuff, and I own some morph stuff, but a perfect jungle is a hard sight to beat.
IMO those are IJ/Jungles more than likely.
Id suggest building a 2.3 group of jungles, get ones from all different lines, theres plenty of top notch, well respected pure jungles out there, and then mix and match. Selectively bred Jungles will always be worth more than any mutation.http://www.moreliapythons.com/forums...1&d=1247792828
