Canons are great cameras even though i don't use them and they have a TON of bodies i can't keep straight so you should be fine with that as long as its not that really old first edition of the rebel or something.. that was a poorly designed camera lol.

The new rebels are nice, I shoot with a D20 body which I believe compares well with the Nikon. BTW, cute pics!
