Thanks, I get it now :) They just don't really teach us much about snake digestion in all of my ANS classes. Too much about cows and pigs.

i personally weigh my snakes after they poo while i clean their bins. this is part of my regular maintenance.

To make things easier, I just weigh mine (except the full-grown adult) every week - usually two days after they eat, regardless of if/when they pooped. I keep records on everything with iHerp, so I can just look back and see if they're "empty" or not. With the regular weekly weighings, it doesn't really matter anyway, since I look at the overall gain on a monthly basis. Might not be the most scientific method, but it works for me. ;)
P.S. I recently weighed Toby the day before and after a big poop, and got an idea of how much it weighed... he lost over 35g with that one. :weirdface
