    Eyeball it--the prey should be as big around as the widest part of the snake. My tiny babies get younger rats, the larger babies get bigger ones. I would probably give a younger fuzzy to the 63 gram snake, and a fully furred fuzzy to the larger one.

    I agree. I just fed up a 60g hatch. switched from mouse hoppers to rat "just getting fuzzy" fuzzies. I try to switch over to rats as soon as i can for the nutritional content. Shes growing like a weed.

    My guy is 70 grams and I feed him rat fuzzy's. Once he hits a 100 grams I'll move up to rat pups. I feed him every 5 days and he always eats enthusiastically.

    Hatchlings usually do well on mice for the first few feedings then you can switch to rats!
