Hold on no one has ever told me log hides are bad, care to explain?

Second there is nothing necessarily wrong with the log hides. The problem with them is that they do not provide security for your BP's because they are opened on both ends. You should have atleast two hides in your set up (one cold side and one hot side), and those hides more or less should only have one opening. The reason for it is they feel more secure in an enclosed area.

I put the comment in there because it is not a hide it is just for decoration more or less and to help her with shedding. Some folks see a log hide, and sometimes jump to conclusions that it is the only hide you have for your snake which is not the case here.
