Some will do this when they are nervous aka handled. My het Albino male breathes fine until I pick him up. Then he whistles almost like a tea kettle for a bit until he settles around my neck- once relaxed his breathing returns to normal.

Yours may be the same way. ;)

I just checked on him this morning, nothing. No slime or anything. Just a nice pink mouth. I was just panicking. Thanks for support and tips, you guys! :D
