Re: Jerhart..... gotta know...
i want him to be healthy strictly so i can see if last year was a fluke or the real deal... i'm thinking the real deal, rather than a product of the system.
Re: Jerhart..... gotta know...
Chiefs still need a defense.

Actually our defense has improved greatly compared to our offense. We switched to a 3-4. We need a NT and a couple good pass rushers. But our 1st team defense held Adrian Peterson and the Vikings to a few yards the 1st quarter of the 2nd week.
Our o-line is embarrassing. This is what needs attention.

Let's not forget that your starters don't really try in the pre-season. Why possibly injure yourself in a game that doesn't count for anything?

That's silly.
You are more likely to get injured if you are not giving it your all by someone who is giving it there all. Ask Brett Favre how is ribs are doing.
AND
Preseason is where players earn starting jobs, or just a spot on the roster. Do you really think the starters are going to slack and give someone a chance to take their spot?
Re: Jerhart..... gotta know...
What's up with the Chiefs firing their offensive coordinator so close to the season? KC always plays the Chargers tough. No matter who they field, I won't chalk it up as a victory, especially in KC.

I know it came as a shock to everyone. Ya know we have 2 offensive TD's in 3 games. That could have something to do with it. Todd Haley did call the plays for the NFC champs last year, so I am sure Chan Gailey was doing all sorts of things wrong in Haley's book. So Haley is going to take over play calling duties. We will see!

You really think Adrian Peterson has anybody to worry about stealing his starting RB job? The good players that know their spots are safe will not try as hard or put in the effort that somebody trying to gain a starter spot would. People like AP won't have their starter spots challenged.

NO...but I KNOW that he gives it his all when he plays. I am saying the notion you are trying to get across that starters don't try their hardest during preseason games is silly. I don't think AP was jogging on his 75 yard TD run nor was he hitting the holes lightly.
Re: Jerhart..... gotta know...
Don't get me wrong, they try, just not their hardest. It's not worth getting hurt in a preseason game. I know 3 people that play in the NFL, and 2 of them are starters. I'm just going off of what I was told.
