I do understand where you guys are coming from that have had bp's for many years, I got my ball python about 2 years ago, and yes i have looked at prices for morphs, but dont really know where the prices started, so im my case the stuff i dont see, doesnt matter to me, but with you guys, you might have bought a morph for 10,000, and now its only worth 600, I can see where you dont want to prices to drop anymore, because every dollar that it drops in a sence you lose money!!!

but all i really wanted to know was what the average prices for those morphs where at shows, i have not had a chance to attend any shows yet, but i hope to in the furture, and the first show i go to i will be picking up a cinnamon male and a pastel female!! So then i can start my life long dream (im only 17) to produce a super pewter, and all the morphs that come before that such as the pewter, and the silver pullet!!!

But thank you for all your help guys!!! I really appreciate it! Even if we got off track for awhile!!

The way you sound you will really enjoy a good show. Just another example of the price drop...I pail $750 for a lesser just last year!!! They were in the $450 range in Daytona last weekend. That hurts.

I paid $1400 for a pair of spiders, and $1000 for a trio of pastels, so that I could make bees, because bees were a lot more.

Last year I got a bee for $800, and from the two clutches that I had this year (from spider x pastel and pastel x spider) I hatched out NO bees. If there is a morph you like but can't afford, save up enough money to buy it, and by that time you'll be able to afford a pair! Ha ha!!

It's another reason many of us hate these "how cheap can I get one" type threads, when we think they're already pretty awesomely priced in comparison.

Jamie, if you read this - you should post some of those pictures!

It was amazing to me when I went back to some old Daytona pics to see how much prices have dropped in just 3 years. Robin, you are dead on. People don't realize how much of a deal they are getting today. I hate the word cheap being used with living creatures. Save that word for boxes of wine and cigars. Here are those pics!

I agree with pretty much everything you guys are sayin another thing to takinto perspective is that there are a lot more people breeding morphs now vs 3 years ago which is going to drive the prices down and im sure that economy dont help, also if you paid a certain dollar amount and got an awesome morph a year later just cause you could of got it cheaper doesnt make it anyless of an awesome snake, thats just part of the hobbie just think in another 3 years what a coral glow will go for lol i doubt prices will fall that much more though

Shows are a lot of fun.

your short answer is going to be, you have to just go and see, every show prices seem to drop.

compared to tinely park this year those prices are a little high.

cheapest prices i remember for some of these morphs at tinely...given they were all males.

    Cinnys 150
    pastels 75
    mojos 200
    lessers 325
pewters ?? i didn't look at them very close
    spiders 100
    hypos 200
