    going back to the thermometer (specifically acurite), if there is one probe, where are you supposed to put it? and if you have two UTHs do you need two thermometers?

    The thermometer unit should go on the cool side, and the probe should go on the warm side, underneath the substrate. No you just need one, it will give you readings for both sides
