    I do like the idea of just using cash to keep big brother out of my business and such. However, some places don't like to take cash. Ever tried to get a hotel room with cash? Especially in the 18 to 21 age range? Or what about when buying a car? They might look at you weird if you walk into a dealership with 25,000 dollars in cash.

    I do have a credit card but I use it just like a debit card. I have it set up to pay the full amount automatically out of my checking account each month and if I don't have the money, then I don't buy it. I also like that it helps me build up some credit to my name which comes in handy when trying to buy a house or a car.
