Re: Frog Week is officially on YouTube
Hello, I have made a project about the native species that live in Pennsylvania, but in many parts of the eastern United States as well. I am pursuing a career in researching these animals. My project was made to bring attention to frogs and toads, and to give many reasons why they are important to us. This episode is one of my favorite episodes because it features my favorite animal the American toad. I was recording them breeding during a thunderstorm. I hope that you will check this episode out and will watch Frog Week to learn more about the native frogs and toads that many of you have seen or kept as a pet.

A Frog Week Discovery!
Episode 6 of my conservation project involving frogs and toads is a discovery! As a citizen scientist I volunteer and take part in the Pennsylvania Amphibian and Reptile Survey (PARS). This survey focuses on documenting what species members find in each county and how many of each species is found. I documented the first ever eastern gray tree frog in Cambria County's history making a discovery. The eastern gray tree frog is not one of the six abundant frogs in Pennsylvania, but the work I am doing could mean this frog becomes the seventh abundant species in the state. Checkout this video of me filming the discovery!
