Size of the rodent meal looks just fine to me. Not too big nor too small. :gj:

And his body proportions look just fine too- keep doing what you're doing. (Except the ladder rungs, ;)- snakes don't have hands to grab on with & they LOVE to find things to hang onto- they automatically crawl into & thru things because they afford "traction", & they don't seem to understand that at some point they'll get stuck- they evolved in a world without manmade stuff everywhere. In this case it looks like he could get his head stuck, & "if" it happened when you were asleep or not home, your beautiful snake could really hurt himself trying to get free- I'm thinking he could dislocate or break his neck...things best avoided.)

Great improvements! How are you heating this enclosure? Are you using the temp gun to measure on top of the substrate?

I don’t think anyone has mentioned this, but if your BP is male it could also be that he’s looking for a female. One of my males is usually quite content in his enclosure, but he’s currently in breeding mode, and I’ve noticed him trying to get out probably because he’s trying to find a girlfriend. It is breeding season after all. If temperatures are fine and you’ve done everything to make him comfortable in his new enclosure, then I would assume it’s probably him wanting to breed. You might still try to tape some kind of paper to the sides to make him feel more comfortable just in case it is the stress of a new enclosure.
