    AWWW!!! I saw the little one this morning at about 10 but i had to go to work so i couldn't post. Congrats on the babies!!! I'm watching as i type this and the little guy (or girl) just yawned!!!! Looks like it may just be twins, looks to me like another head is poking out but hidden by part of the shell. May just be part of the babies body though... *eyes are now glued to screen*

    Hi,


    I have a question for all you experienced hatchling watchers.:)

    I see the one that pipped first rubbing its face/nose on the surrounding eggs quite a lot.

    Is this an expression of the pipping instinct and it's trying to slit what it perceives as eggshell?

    If so does it still have its eggtooth at this juncture and has anyone ever seen the shell slit by a hatchling other than the occupant?

    Or is it simply trying to rub away some of the egg contents from its sensitive areas?

    The farthest egg from the cam has a few small slits in it.

    Should I wipe the condensation off of the glass or should they be left alone?
