In your video, why do you say "price your codoms at what you want and i'll be there to pricem right underneath ya"

You're implying that If i buy some co-doms from you, raise them up and breed them, the codoms that I attempt to sell, you will stab me in the back and price them under what I am trying to sell them for.

Why would I support that?

The only reason that I can see someone would choose MKR is based on price only. Joe may be super nice on the phone when talking sales - that's his job. But his behavior on the BOI and that of Steve (Ghost) here and on BOI don't cast a good light on MKR and as Joe as much as said - they will sell less than anyone - that inlcudes YOU when you start selling the offspring.

I like to remember for myself - you are the company you keep. If MKR continues to antagonize other breeders, their peers, so that no one wants to do any trades or sell them snakes - do you really want to be a vocal supporter of them and be associated with them? And when people ask the genetics of your snakes that you are selling, are you going to proudly proclaim MKR when, like it or not - there are a LOT of people who have decided that they will not support MKR's actions and likewise, will not purchase known MKR stock offspring?

I'm THRILLED that you guys are happy with your transaction, but other than pricing, I can't see why anyone would want to be associated with them. They are rude and abrasive, not someone I'd want to be associated with.

But that's just me, and I'll still respect you, and I'll still celebrate with you when you hatch your first animals, but I doubt I'd buy from you or trade with you (you being anyone who is buying MKR these days). Like Jhall said - it's not personal, it's business. I want only the best stock I can get, and I don't consider mass breeding without consideration for selective breeding to be the best stock.

I did ask to come and see last year - because I was going to be in OK visiting family, and you e-mailed me back and said you don't allow visitors, but did offer me a snake to bring back with me (but I was flying, so that was out).

And just a few more questions that I am curious about

Why do you publicly state that you are going to put small time breeders out of business?

Why do you keep making references to you being a car salesman? Car salesman have one thing on their mind...$$$ How many can I sell this month?

Why do you refer to your snakes as "products"?

Why have you publicly stated that you are out to crash the ball python AND now the gecko market?

Why are no prices listed on your web site?

Why were you kicked off KingSnake?

Why do you keep telling everyone how much money you've made? and how big you are? That should be your customer’s job.

Every day I listen to the radio, every commercial break has a car commercial. Every car dealership claims to be the biggest, the best, have the best deal, find a deal and they'll beat it. What is the purpose? Sales and making money. One of my best friends is an ex car salesman and he said he got out of the business a long time ago because people in that business will run over you and not think twice about what they're doing. It's a money driven industry, and now you're bringing your car salesman techniques to the ball python world and it is not cute. "299 down! 299 a month for 4 months! that's unbelievable!!!!" It really isn't.

Joe maybe you do have good snakes....or perhaps I should say Wes does. After all, you are the middle man in the business...Wes raises the snakes (as you said in the video), and you sell them to the customer (making you the middle man). But the fact is you have an ego that completely disgusts me. All the references to you being a business man, you being the biggest and the best, you selling $750,000 worth of snakes in 15 weeks...all that crap bothers me.

Joe, I don't think this industry needs someone like you. The snakes sell themselves.

I'm new to the ball python world. I've never once bred a pair of snakes. I am one of the "little guys" that you are out to sell snakes to at a cheap price so they can get started, and then turn right around and cut the price in half of the snake you just sold me.

Know this. I will never do business with you Joe. Snakes are NOT cars! Based on your video, your comments on other threads, and your comments on this forum, I think your only motive in this industry is money. Will I pay extra for the same snake from a different breeder? You better believe I will. I will always take my business to someone who has a moral obligation to my hobby.

I have formed my opinion on you and your business based on your own words, not others words. It is nice to know that I am not the only one who sees straight through your shallow sales tactics. There is another thread on this forum that asks if anyone would do business with you….the results are (as of right now) 55% of the people would NOT do business with you. Think about that for a second…OVER half of the people who voted will NOT do business with you!! You have given a lot of people multiple reasons to not do business with you…And that is an old thread…it was started before you and your employee Steve screwed yourselves over. There are a lot of people on this board, as well as other boards that despise you and your ethics and tactics. If I were in your position, I would zip my pants up and stop pissing into the wind.

Sell your snakes and not yourself. My business is going elsewhere. I’ll gladly pay more than what you think it’s worth. It’s not all about money to me.

You might claim to be the biggest and the best and have the most sales Joe, but in the back of your mind you also have to remember that you’re also the most hated.

To finally make a statement on such a heated thread and not even proofread is enough to make me not want to do business with you. Attention to detail must not be something you care for.

You can't monopolize a market in which people will not support your endeavors. Boycotts are a very effective, and I hope the bp community will come to its senses and realize they're drowning themselves by supporting you.

I being 22, working full time, going to college and saving what few pennies I have to expand my collection is a very hard thing for me to do. With the way things are going, I won't even be able to support the growth of my hobby through my own small time breeding endeavors. I as part of the public, do not thank you, nor do I believe you give a crap about the "public".

You don't see anybody in OPEC doing what you did. No no, in that cartel you would be killed for dumping your Oil below market prices.

i personally find the bullying tactics low and not very pleasing. so what if you have more money or more balls than me. to most of us this is a hobby we enjoy. this kind of behavoir takes the fun out of it and puts a bad light on the hobby in general, imo.

speaking of being the biggest and the best ball breeder, the "best" is of opinion. everyone has their own.

as to the biggest, will you share some info. will you tell us how many snakes you have? breeders? number of clutches? i really am curious as to who the biggest in quantity really is.
