Don't get me wrong, injuries, trades, etc...can derail a season, but making the right pickups off the waiver wire can save a season.

    Refer to my statement below.

    Calm down there.

But no matter how many 5 star match ups you have, you cannot control players having a bad game, in game injuries or a defense that suddenly thinks they're the 85' Bears. 8 of my 9 players have under performed, and badly. I have the 4,5 & 6 rated running backs playing this week with one to go tonight and the other two have garnered just 1/3 of their projected points. So what I'm saying is there is no way to predict when you team will collectively take a dump and the last place team suddenly has all Pro Bowl players. MY .02.

Couldn't have said it better myself....wait

So I'm going to present my case hear to this "rogue" league as the Commissioner of my league (my son) has tossed my protest. My proof that this is more luck than skill has never been so evident than in my semifinal fiasco. My team had 7/9 players fail to achieve their probable point total. My opponent had 6/9 fail. My total score was 96.02 and opponents was 108.98. The last time we played I beat him 151-101. The 108.98 that beat me was lower than my previous worst score of the season (110.51) so this is the ONLY week he could've beat me. So this proves that winning is ALL luck.......at least this week.

Oh, and BTW, I lost (was robbed) by my 8 year old son who is now grounded for the winter and has had Christmas cancelled!:colbert::taz::salute::bow::rage:

Oh not so fast there. I'm hanging on by a thread for my 3rd place finish. Have to hope Jared Cook doesn't get over 17 points tonight!
