For the most part these leagues are ALL luck!

I have to disagree
I disagree also as I have scores of 115-202 this season and am on pace for 89. That my friend is bad luck!

We all have bad weeks, but there's a reason there are experts that get paid to play and analyze. Just like it's not luck that the same guys are sitting at the final table of the world series of poker year after year.
Don't get me wrong, injuries, trades, etc...can derail a season, but making the right pickups off the waiver wire can save a season.

I agree but where I disagree is when the experts (Fantasy Pros et al) miss on half of their top 10 running backs on a given week. I've made 45 roster moves this year so very much understand the waiver wire and have the top rated team in the league. But no matter how many 5 star match ups you have, you cannot control players having a bad game, in game injuries or a defense that suddenly thinks they're the 85' Bears. 8 of my 9 players have under performed, and badly. I have the 4,5 & 6 rated running backs playing this week with one to go tonight and the other two have garnered just 1/3 of their projected points. So what I'm saying is there is no way to predict when you team will collectively take a dump and the last place team suddenly has all Pro Bowl players. MY .02.
