    Way to go ladies! :gj:

I know, huh? I'm a librarian, of all things... so I've endured plenty of jokes about that, especially when I'm wearing the glasses and my hair in a bun. But then I defy all stereotypes with my (over a dozen) tats, piercings & snakes! Some of us are just walking contradictions, I suppose. ;)

Funny (kinda related) story - my boss asked if I could work extra hours this week, and I guess my face reacted negatively. She looked at me, and said "I know you just had babies, but we have to get this report done!" Anyone who doesn't know me would have found that to be a VERY weird comment, hehe. :D

    Time for a new picture!!

I'm loving that hair color too!! I've tried to go deep red/burgundy in the past, but it just doesn't work on a natural redhead... makes me look fake & vampire-like. I do enrich my color a bit these days, but only because I'm starting to go "gray" (redheads kinda go blonde-gray after 30ish). :(

So as it seems I'm not the only one that has problems finding the right someone that enjoys my hobby as much as I do(mostly do to me working way to much and most of the women I meet freak when they find out how many reptiles I have lol) I am in the process of creating a forum here for just that...

    agreed...

I figured why not have an area where single members could chat and meet with other with the same interests. Where couples could share their herp love stories, or even where people could get relationship advice from others who might have gone through the same situation.
As this is in the works and hopefully will be up soon I still trying to decide on a name for the forum So any suggestions....?

Awesome! My old neighbor was a photography student, and asked once if she could borrow my snakes for a "Medusa" shoot - then decided I would be the model too. Unfortunately the girl got herself knocked up, and moved back home (Texas) before the project ever started. Darnit. :(

It works the other way too, as I've scared off a few men with the mere mention of snakes. The guy I'm dating right now is cool with it, though... he already knew about the snakes from my sister (who introduced us), and while he isn't into them, it didn't freak him out or anything. He's a very mellow "doesn't bother me" type, which is one of the reasons we get along so well. Around here the men can be a little - ummm - metrosexual, not to mention uptight about nearly everything. So with my various weird hobbies & habits, I'd just about given up on finding a compatible man!

That sounds cool! If things don't work out with this new guy, that might become very appealing to me. As for names, I'll have to think about it... just don't pick anything with HERP or BALLS in the title, hehe. :colbert:

Cute! I agree genetics are weird, my son looks EXACTLY like my brother, my EX husband and I both have brown hair and brown eyes, and my son is a little blonde haired - blue eyed kid like my brother. Funny how it works :D

Here is mini-me (my 7 year old sister). She's just as obsessed with my pets as I am, she LOVES coming to my house and holding my critters. She even "claimed" Lucky (MY rat lol) as her own...here he is giving her kisses :P

    With my hair wavy:

And with the blue finally back in my hair, though it's a bit dark in the pic (I had taken it out for a while, but I put it back in for now. It's leaving again in May for a play I'm in, but I'll definitely go blue again after :D)
