A nice, plump female baby with a reduced pattern that eats like a pig. :) Not to say that's a common occurance, she was pretty random and rare.

There are several documented cases of Balls reaching over 6 feet in length. And claims of 8 feet (I've never actually seen any documentation proving it, but that doesn't mean it's impossible). So it's not false information by any means. Most would consider it fairly unlikely to have a 6' 4" ball, but not impossible. :)

Need about 3 of this size rack for 150, or 17 for 1000 :)
CH can be a pain to deal with, it just depends on a lot of things. Were they rehydrated, how long were they kept in Africa, are they relatively clean or do you have mite/tick/parasite issues, are you going to have to assist feed them.
I originally planned on getting 200, and right before the order came through someone in the "buy" backed out and I ended up with 400. With the number I need to assist feed, and treating them all for internal problems, it is safe to say that I wasn't completely aware of the amount of work involved when I accepted 2x heh.
If you are taking care of 150 by yourself in your spare time, I wish you luck, it will be a nightmare :). If you have assistance (my wife helps me feed and clean, etc) or have time to do this full time, then it should be a lot more manageable.

Re: I found something cool at petco!
I backed out of the deal. The original deal was 1 thousand on my part, then 1500, then that was it. Im not ready for 150 more just yet (until I finish my racks)
And plus I just bought 7 non feeders that are 2 months old and havent eaten yet, and didnt eat on thier own yet.
I felt bad for them, and they were $3 bucks each. I just ordered my pinky pump from Big Apple Herp...and going from there, being I didnt want to force feed whole.

OK, I'm scared to ask - I even went to Big Apple Herp and searched on Pinky Pump. What exactly does a pinky pump do? Pulverize a pinky?
Have you tried just setting the non-feeders up in small 15 quart tubs with small tight hides - perfect temps and leave them alone for 2 weeks, then offer a live hopper? Have they been seen by a vet yet to determine if they have internal parasites?
Good luck with the little ones!

That is exactly what it does. Hopefully nobody is putting a live pinky in one.

He said that they were non-feeders at $3 each ... so that would be $450. ;)
