Re: Solana - Our Scaleless Sunglow Motley Corn
Solana ate a couple of nights ago and I had to do a poop check. She seemed interested in chilling a little, so we hung out and I got some okay pictures with my DSLR with inside light (getting cold outside and too cold to take her out now).

She was 29G dry last week and just ate a 6G Fuzzy. She should be pushing 30G+ this week. She's so calm and so beautiful. She's just stunning to look at. The bigger she gets, the more impressive she looks and the softer she feels. She is incredibly soft to the touch. At 8G, you couldn't really notice too much. At 30G, she's starting to be substantial enough to feel the vast difference between a scaleless snake and a scaled snake.

At this size, her motley pattern is really starting to show more and her spots pop! I still love her eyes so much. Two shades of red and so incredibly rich looking.

Solana dropped a bomb and I had her out to clean her tank. She usually drops two before eating again, but I decided to weigh her anyway. She weighed in at 35G. She may drop 1-2G if she goes again, but she's well over 30G now. Her 6 month birthday was feeding day, 10-21-18, and she's growing nicely.

Still a total sweetie as well.

Here are some pictures of her with Katie holding her. I got good light, but it's still with the iPhone. The light helps a lot to capture her colors.

Solana gobbled down another Fuzzy tonight and was about 36G dry before this meal. Got a couple shots of her this week and one bad one of her eating. The fuzzies are starting to go down real quick!

    Enjoy!

Solana loves her medium hides. They are huge for her! I have the small ones in there, and she uses them, but 90% of the time she's in the medium hides.

Why? I stuff them with paper towels. She feels really safe and secure in there. She's usually curled up on, under it, or wedged between it, and has her body against the side(s) of the hide in all those scenarios.

Today I went in to check on her and clean her water dishes. I lifted her cool hide and there she was. She was so calm. She just looked at me like, "Are you going to put that back, Dad?"

I did not put it back. I stuck the iPhone in her face and got a couple pictures with the tank lighting. She was a good sport and then got to come out and spend some quality time with Dad. Of course, after the bowls were cleaned, and I put her back, her hide was returned to it's original spot :).

Pretty girl's eyes are starting to cloud over, but that didn't stop her from gobbling down a fuzzy tonight!

I'll post some pictures after her shed and I have a good weight. I'm guessing around 40G now.
