Broadude - no pied involved, as it doesn't have any _pure_ white spots (see the ivory dorsal striping?) or a piebald's aberrant pattern. Could be a "paradox ivory", or could be something entirely new. Gotta be the coolest snake I've seen this season so far!

I noted the stripe..thats where the YB (Het Ivory) guess came from...the patterning is weird... but now that you mentioned it..it does differ from the Pied.

    Thanks! Correction noted.

I just want to guess....Yellow Belly Piebald and the white on the piebald lets the ivory trait show through. well that is my guess.

That is utterly amazing! It doesn't seem to follow most of the usual aberrant "paradox" patterning and does look more like a pied's patterning....but without the typical pied look. I WONDER if this could possibly be a new Ivory-Pied gene? How I would love to have a snake like that to try and prove out! Not to mention just to sit and look at all the time...what a little beauty!!

That is truely unique! That would be amazing if it is a new ivory-pied gene like Judy suggested. Keep us posted!

What a beauty Simon! Not only you get this wacko paradox, but it looks like you had a few other ivories in there too... great clutch! Must of been Ivory male to het-ivory female I bet?

Anyways, congrats on an awesome clutch :)

I donno about you, but I would hold it back and see if that's genetic. With the popularity of Pieds, this could be something new that will be awesome!

    Fantastic Paradox!
