    I don't think so Pat, because it doesn't have an aberrant pattern, the rest of it is just normal lookin. I could be wrong though.

    I think it's just heterozygous for pied. Meaning only one allele is of that particular gene. We think in terms of recessive and codominant. The pied gene seems to be a little of both. It's het form shows a distinct phenotype but not always. Such an interesting gene...

    NO. It's a het not a homozygous pied. It's called a ringer not a pied for a reason. :)
