After a few hours on a hot July day, got it all moved to its current room in my house.

[QUOTE=Icatsme;707707]Here's mine. I just have one 10 tub at the moment. We're going to put the house up for sale, so I moved it in the closet. It fits great. Don't want prospective buyers freaking out when they see my kids. Now I just need to get a larger tub rack to put my big adults in.

everybody with the really nice racks like this, the black ones, what are they made of? i'm definitely looking into building some new racks, our last ones were an epic failure.

The rack in this picture looks like an Animal Plastics Rack System. I have purchased my racks from Reptile Basics. http://www.reptilebasics.com/ The racks from Reptile Basics are made from 3/8 PVC Plastic.

PVC pipping yes but sheets of 3/8" thick PVC plastic I don't think so. The racks that Rich sells from Reptile Basics are a great price.

thanks. i'll have a better look around for the pvc. already manufactured racks are great, but i can do it myself just as well. once i pay to have them shipped + GST + duty etc to get them into Canada, it's just not worth it. i can get them from Greg at Cornel's World in Canada, but again the shipping costs are a lot and if i can build them myself, yahoo!

I see. Shipping to Canada might be a bit much. You could always use melamine just do not make the rack to wide or it will start to bow.

    Good luck!

yeah, i just built a 72-slot rack for our corn snake hatchlings out of melamine, and GOD that thing weights a ton, haha. only reason i don't want to get into building my racks out of melamine. much too heavy!

I picked up a sheet of 1/4 PVC from a sign shop. I'm sure if you have one in your area they may be able to special order it in for you.

What sign shop did you order it from? Was it super expensive? I called Home Depot and Rona to ask if they had and they both sounded like they thought I was mental.
