    I got him on Tuesday. No, I don't know how much he weighs, but planning on getting a scale.

    you definitely need one of those. When you get one, make sure to get a red bulb for it so it emulates night time. Snakes are most active during night and prefer the red light since it makes them feel hidden.

    Not at all hun.

    I run a uth on my tank, and switch between a red night and blue daytime one.

    My temps are right on the mark.

    When you say heat pad, do you mean a heating pad, or one of the ones you can stick to the bottom (or side) of your tank?
