Is this Normal from a known breeder?
I really just feel that this is all between Garrick and the OP, and it's being meddled in a bit more than necessary. As I stated before, the OP never intended to reveal the breeders name, so he wasn't trying to cast a bad light on anyone. The breeder was revealed against his wishes, and now has exploded into a big stick-your-nose-in-someone-else's-business. Now messages from the breeder are being copied and pasted, when he said himself he would come and address the situation. Once again, information is plastered where it has no business being plastered. Why was Garrick not allowed to address this on his own, in his own time? I just really feel there is too much meddling going on, and the original question should have simply been addressed as it was, and let the OP and the breeder work out the issue. Personally, this thread has not affected whether or not I would buy from Garrick, and I don't believe the OP EVER wanted the breeder's name involved. I feel bad for both the OP and Garrick in this situation.

If needed, I can post the email from Garrick where he thanks me for posting the email he sent since it will take a day before his account is activated.

I'm not blaming anyone or trying to stir any poop. I just really think the whole thread should have never involved the breeders name, as the OP obviously didn't want to reveal it. This could have all been avoided from the start had the question just simply been answered and let the OP and the breeder work out what they needed to.

That's exactly what I was thinking. If the OP didn't want to release the name of the breeder why does someone else have the right to? This thread seems pointless if everything is resolving itself between the two parties.

Personally i wouldn't knowingly ship an animal in unsafe temperature or weather condition even if the buyer insisted on it. It can lead to dead animals and customer service headaches like this.

And yet, only one of seven died. It's kind of hard to blame that on the weather alone. Still, without emails to back up their claims, nothing is for sure as yet.

While I understand where you're coming from Nimbly, and true, Garrick's name was thrown out there without the OP's consent, it remains that Garrick's name was made public, and he has every right to defend what the OP brought to everybody's attention. The screenshot of Garrick's response is nothing but helpful in this situation, where people are in fact anxious to get a response - This thread would probably be another 8 pages long by now, if it wasn't known that Garrick was intending to come post after the fact.

Since when does a copy of an email count as hard evidence? Since when do forum accounts have a one day activation policy?
