I'm guessing after a closer look and rereading you post, the "pink" is actually the pewter. He is gorgeous. I'm sure he would cost a pretty penny as well. Very beautiful babies.

The pastel is kind of hard to see. It is more yellow than the others. If you saw one in person you would notice a pastel has more blushing, yellow color, a clean white belly, and green eyes.

Is it possible to have twins?? I've seen two headed snakes before, but never two that look exactly the same. I'm looking at pics now online. These are awesome. I'm like a kid in a candy store looking at these. Thank you for sharing those of your babies.

You can have twins, two snakes sharing an egg, but they will never have the exact same patterning. Kinda like how twin humans won't have all their freckles in the same spots.

I'm so screwed!![emoji4][emoji4]. When I get my little guy under control, maybe after a year of zero complications, I'm gonna be getting another snake. The little handling is gonna be something for be to get used to though. I really want to pick up all those babies and cuddle with them. Lol.

Lol. You say a year, I say 3 months. I can't remember how long it took me to get a second snake but it wasn't long!

You can handle them fairly often. Just not on feeding day and two days after. I understand the temptation to have them out all the time. Bps do fairly well with moderate handling as long as they are established feeders

When the times right in a short while hopefully . .. You can handle them , just for short periods though , that's fine as long as they keep feeding well , if they suddenly went off their food after regular daily handling then that would be the time to reduce the handling of course ..

That's the beauty of having more than one snake but that's getting ahead of ourselves again :)

I guess Royals are just a little more sensitive about handing , generally speaking . My Pastel Royal literally eat out of my hands as he's monstrous feeder , almost Retic-like feeding response ...

South Texas is known for having moderate humidity. Maybe I can lower the a/c in the house and open the doors and windows to help boost the humidity in the tank. Would putting a humidifier near his tank help any?? Just until I can get this worked out??

I have read and was told not to hand feed. Now I want to try it. At some point, not anytime soon. I would love to be able to hand feed mine. I used to hand feed my iguanas all the time. Yes I know, different creature. Lol. But it still nice to be trusted that much by them.

Uh. Don't bother. Hand feeding is not a display of trust so much as it is an easy way to get accidentally bit. Just feed with tongs.
