Thanks. And i agree, she is coloring up nicely. She will be 1 year old in 11 days.

I know what you mean about addiction lol. I am currently at my max with 10 snakes (plus some geckos, a BTS, and some frogs). I would love to get a BCC and a breeding pair of BCL eventually, but for that to happen I feel I have to downsize elsewhere.. Problem is, I don't want to rehome any of the ones I currently have lol. Add to that the fact that I'm running short on room in my reptile room, so for now I'll just have to live vicariously. :)
Thanks and i hear you about being at the limit haha. Like i said, i got one more AP cage laying around for the male Suri. I would like to get a female BCL too and i got a gal who breeds Denton Line BCL but not Meltzer/Lincoln as she told me that line which was started by Marcia Lincoln and John Meltzer is almost extinct so finding one of those might be work. So I'd like a female of that but also would like a Peruvian BCC and still kicking around the idea of a Gila which i was really excited about since i liked those as a kid but really, for my position, a venomous reptile might not be the best idea so despite loving them, i might have to live through pics with one lol. And i couldnt see getting rid of any of my 'kids' i got now so looks like it will boil to a male Suri or a female BCL......probably the Suri lol. Been bit by the bright red tail and now hard to say no ;)

Great colors in her last photo btw!
Thanks. And i tried off brands too and not doing it again. Was not pleased. I just got 4 bricks of the real stuff again and going to stick with that. It's more expensive but seems the best so far. Gina seems to have accepted it and is back to relaxing in her cool hide with her face poking out lol.

Well not sure about Gina as she sat me the whole time and didn't want to go into the cage. I finally set her on top of her hide and she is slowly investigating the stuff.
Rango is in shed so he really didn't care as long as he got to back into a hide lol.

Such a good looking boa.
My buddy here just told me his two Gus Pokis had a littler and sent me a picture.
It is killing me that I can't buy one.
Gina is such a beauty. Look at that body. If anybody wants to know what "lateral compression" looks like in a boa constrictor, this is the perfect example.

Thanks. Is your buddy BNS? Saw his sneak peek on the 'other' site lol.
And the number one reason i love boas, they always want to eat lol. I was changing Dottie and Luna over Reptichips today. They are on the cages at the bottom of the stack so while i was working, i look up as I'm reaching in to wipe the back wall down and there is Gina standing up to get a birds eye view down at me lol. I think she was thinking it's dinner time even though she ate 3 days ago haha.
And i hear you, there is still 3 snakes i want. The male Pokigron suriname from Chris' Oct litter to match Gina, a Peruvian BCC and a female Peruvian Longtail preferably Meltzer/Lincoln line to match Louie. Problem is i got 1 extra cage haha.

Yes its BNS.
He and Gus used to chat quite a bit and BNS knows his stuff.
Gina looks amazing here and in PERFECT Suri shape.
I'm not sure if folks new to the hobby truly appreciate something like this. A locality boa constrictor in perfect condition is something special.
Some folks want BIG snakes immediately and completely lose sight what boa constrictors are all about.
Off track rant on my part.
Gina looks great!
