    Well, look at the leatherback, which to me I do not consider scaleless, but having smaller scales. Then look at the Silky bearded dragon ( Which I believe is the super leatherback?) and they do in fact have health issues and no scales, and look more like the ball python in the picture.

    I would not compare a scaleless rat to a ball python, they may both be snakes but they are different kinds. The Lucy ratsnake has Eye buldging problems, so does that mean the ball pythons should to?

    To me missing an eye is just as much a defect as missing scales.

    Did you look up leatherbacks before you said they do not have scales? I went and made sure but They do have scales, I think you meant Silkbacks, which like I said above have many health problems.

    Look everyone, this is Just IMHO. You can argue all day long and tell me they live long healthy lives, but I would not own one. For all we know its not even reproducable.
