Joe is a breeder that was partners with a guy (Wes) in the MKR venture. Not really a good guy. Pretty much the only thing he wanted to have to do with the snakes is sit back and collect the checks. After all was said and done Wes pretty much kicked him out and split up the business and isnow trying to save what is left of his reputation.

P.S I soke to Wes yesterday and he siad that he appoligies(sp) to anyone that calls that had dealings with Joe and hope to save what is left.

To start, the cheapest way to test the waters to see if its what you like is to pick up a few normal females and a male co-dom of choice (pastel, mojave, spider, etc)

A lot, including myself, will start off with hets (recessive genetics) or with co-dom genetics (pastels, spiders, etc.) Pastels have dropped quite a bit over the years and are affordable for those wanting to test the waters. Pastels bred to a normal will result in 50/50 normal/pastel clutch your first time around..so the results are rewarding. Recessive is a little more complicated, takes a little more time to figure out, but in the long run, very worth the wait.

Breeding ball pythons takes a lot of patience. so if you don't have patience, if you want money tomorrow, then you're barkin up the wrong tree

One suggestion I have is, please stop using your snakes as fashion accessories. If you are really trying to get them grown up to breeding size, you need to limit their handling times to give them less stress.. taking them everywhere with you has to be horribly stressful on the snake; it is like sensory overload. I am just trying to help here; an occasional half-hour of calm handling time at home is fine and even something that should be encouraged; but think of all the varying temperatures, odors, germs, etc. outside; this is worth looking into.

This is just my opinion. But it seems to me you are just in it for the money. Just because you have extra money lying around doesnt mean you should go and pay someone to do things for you. If you didnt have this money would you even breed these snakes?

    Breeder Man,

You have a PM. I would like to talk to you in person... I am in So Cal, and am good friends with the people at Amazon Reptile, and there are SEVERAL things in your story already that I would like to ask you about privately and maybe face to face.

Look forward to hearing from you.
