    I thought "rice burners" was a term used for import motorcycles.. once saw a shirt reading "I'd rather push my Harley than ride a rice burner..."

    That aside, I LOVE Nissans. Think about this.. Nissans are made here in the US (assembled) but Chevys are assembled in Mexico... I love having this debate.

    "Rice burners" used to be a term to describe any type of vehicle made from Japan be it car, truck or motorcycle. "Rice rocket" was specifically just the bikes. Geez, I really feel old. :(

    Those terms came about way before imports were even recognized as good race cars. It was just another deragatory(sp?) term for a product made by another culture. ;)
