Possibly, but I think Willie was more infatuated with the idea of what Marty would be one day rather than with Marty herself. And don't forget, he was kind of trying to talk himself out of getting married.

Sorry, but the poorly dubbed American version is the only one I have seen. (And that was over 20 years ago at that)
