So you truly believe that YOUR texts and emails would help but no one else here would have helped convince her?

Now it's "I would have gotten her to let me help the snake.. but due to anyone but me contacting her, now she won't!" even though you indicated that she wasn't interested in anything other than selling the snake/cage at top dollar to begin with?

Maybe it was you. Maybe it was random people who saw the original ad. Maybe it was people who read the thread here. Maybe it was her own intention to never let go of the snake unless it was for the top dollar with cage price.

My goodness, what's been going on here lately? This isn't the first thread here recently that's turned bat crap crazy :( I haven't seen this much disagreement, "attacking", arguing, and drama in a long time (no, I'm not speaking to anyone in particular so please don't take this like I'm targeting or blaming anyone). Just observing...

You are putting words into my mouth. Please don't read more into my posts than what I'm actually saying.

I knew that I wouldn't be able to convince her. She already resented me for telling her the snake was sick. I never claimed that I alone could save this snake.

Maybe I know more than you do about this situation right now, and maybe it's not arrogant of me to say that. The damage is done and there's nothing I can do to reverse it.

It was MY error to share this here, and MY error in not trying to deal with it locally first. Perhaps how I behaved here has also affected this. I don't know. I know that I'll be approaching things very differently in the future.

I would like to request that this thread be locked/removed/etc.

There must be something in the air. :/
