Most likely, and that's a sad story about him. That being said last time I ran into a Marsoc sniper he was actually one of the trainers at SRT school. During a training sim of clearing a house he decided he was going to pop my shield(I was the shield man) back into my face. Long story short I tossed him on his noggin and they had to call for an index because that wasn't part of the training. My platoon SGT chewed me out in front of everyone, then slapped me five when no one was looking :) He said it was good to show them the army isn't a bunch of "female body parts" lol. Ok this is way off topic, thought it was a fun memory tho.

Since Mr.Lang has not branched off I do have a question.

If I was off duty and see you getting robbed what do you think I should do?

If a civilian with a carry license see you getting robbed what do you think they should do?

My brother in law is an officer and my sister was a cop but retired early after having kids.
If he is caught without his gun or badge while off duty, I'm pretty sure he is in deep kaka.

KMG, speaking as a non-officer, I'd be all kinds of relieved if an off-duty officer intervened on my behalf in that sort of scenario, as would most non-criminals, I imagine. Same goes for a carry permit holder, though that has somewhat more potential for things to go legally sideways, simply due to the fact that they don't have arrest powers and that the police would likely then have to investigate instead of simply knowing the facts via being there. As much as I respect and have never personally had a bad interaction with the police, I don't want to be the subject of an investigation if I can avoid it.

Maybe we should just coddle the criminals and make them feel better about themselves

I nominate Mr. Lang for this program. He seems to understand the drug clouded minds of crackheads.
