I know your thread is old but thought I would share. I have a ball python that just laid eggs 4 slugs and one that looks viable. She has never been with a male I have had her 15 years and she was a baby when I got her. Did you leave the slugs in until the babies hatched or should I get rid of them? I am hopeful that I have a miracle baby :)
Boas give birth to live young. If the ends don't look like they are alive then most likely they probably aren't.
Sorry it's been so long. But I have a real bad update. We have lost Skull. The smaller baby. She just wouldn't eat and I tried everything and sadly we lost her. Sad day for me and the wife.

Thanks guys. I just noticed. Mistake. It wasn't skull that passed it was Tails. I don't know why I typed skull. Sad day either way. I hate to say it was expected but she just refused to eat and we figured she would have an issue somewhere down the road.
