well i am also having twins in another clutch from the same Spider Sire so if anything happens to the quads i will still have the twins available as long as there are no further issues , which in the twins i doubt there will be .

I keep expecting this to get weirder every time I look at the thread. Perhaps next it will turn out two of them are conjoined.

I wonder if that's a genetic trait that your male spider has? Probably double the value of those babies if you could prove that the gene was passed on.

well as far as the Sire (Spider) is concerned it is genetic hes produced the quadruplets and in another clutch 1 definite set of twins and possibly 1 more set .

Ok well some Good and Bad news

Good news : The Clutch is Day 52 and is starting to come out of the eggs 1 so far and 2 others prolly be out by evening time .

Bad news : the Quadruplet spiders didnt make it , i had a feeling this would be the outcome due to size and just sheer fact there was 4 of them in the 1 egg .

i did a video of the egg and me cutting them away from their cords and weighing them .. ( Theres always Next Season to Try it again )

Sorry to hear this. It was exciting while it lasted. Good luck with the remaining hatchlings.
