    Re: Anyone else ride motorcycles???
No bike yet, but hubby and I are taking the class to get our licenses this year and will hopefully buy a bike in the fall. The bike will be mine, but hubby wants to be able to ride it. Only problem is I am 5'0" and 110 lbs so will need to have the bike lowered and handle bars modified more than likely. Hubby is almost 6'0" and 230 lbs so not sure how he's gonna ride my short bike :P
I will be getting a cruiser, not sure what kind though. I work for a car dealership and the owner has a bike dealership, too (same property as the car dealership) so I get an employee disc on bikes and and stuff. Will probably get whatever I like the look of that will need the least amount of mods. I decided on a motorcycle endorsment on my license and a bike as my mid-life crisis :rolleye2: I only have a 2 mile ride to work, so I can park the Suburban and only use that when transporting family, dogs, groceries and in the winter.

It's required, but since I've never driven a bike, I would have taken it anyway. You'll see me later in the year on "World's Dumbest" with the bike taking off on me and me too dumb to let go during class  LOL...

that seems like a good law actually.... I havnt taken the class, but from what I understand is that it is needed :) I will hopefully take it next spring if I have the money for a bike

And if by any chance, someone gets into a condition where they cannot ride, I will GLADLY keep their bike running for them :P
