So, about my snakes, I don't know what sex they are, but since they know, I figure I don't have to worry to much about it. Nature will take it course, right? What kinds of morphs do you think I'll be able to get out of my Normals? I'm hopping for Pie Balds and Caramel Albino Pinstripe Pastels. I can make a lot of money with those!

I did a bunch of research and found out that ball pythons are nocturnal. That works out perfect for me because I do shift work, and I can stay up all night long with all the lights on watching them do interesting stuff. The petstore guy told me my 300 gallon tank was perfect because ball pythons love to climb. The tank is big enough for a whole tree branch, so I cut one out of the pine tree in my back yard and threw that bad boy in there. The sap coming out of it should really give my ball pythons some traction for climbing, and it matches my pine shaving substrate.

The petstore guy said all my snakes are "08's", whatever that means, but should be breeding up a storm by next week. What do you think?

I also need some feeding suggestions. Since I'm a total vegan, I can't stand the thought of feeding rodents to my snakes, so I just leave big globs of peanut butter in the tank. I figure when they get hungery enough, they'll switch over with no trouble at all. Can you think of anything better than peanut butter. I also thought about cat food and Goldfish crackers. Let me know what you think.

My husbandry is good to go. Right now, I have all 14 snakes in the same tank, and my cool side is 68 degrees (funny, that's the same temp as my house) and my warm side, with the 25 watt bulb is 68.5 degrees. I know my temps are accurate because I bought several analog temp thingys that stick on the glass. My humidity is really good too because I use a garden hose and put about a half inch of water in the bottom of the tank every couple of days. The snakes love it. I know because everytime I do it they all slither around and climb over eachother. Just a big happy family!!!

Oh yeah, two more questions, why do they all have bubbles coming out their noses and make wheezing noises? Is that some kind of mating ritual? And, what are all the little black things crawling around in the tank.
