Only difference was that his did it almost constantly if yours has only done it once or twice then hopefully shes just a weird one. best of luck to you and you little one. I lost my red tail a few months back but that was from bad husbandry on the part of lllreptile.

Wow, that's awful! I missed the mention of that before. Did your friend know what the cause was? Doesn't sound like the same thing now - if it was just seizures. No need to freak poor Pat out. And throwing out an accusation like that, about LLL, can you substantiate/bolster in a new thread? Or did you already do that on Fauna?

Hang in there, Pat and thatkindofgirl! Our thoughts are with you and your RTB!

    Pat and Thatkindofgirl,

I have been following this thread for a while I have just never posted.

Those stitches are very intense but I am glad that she is doing great and I hope for a swift recovery.

NOW just remember you better keep up updated for a while ! :8:

Yeah, the sutures definitely look intimidating on her little body, but we decided to go with a larger size to ensure they would hold up while she heals since they will be in for awhile. They seem to be working out perfectly and since they are a disolvable suture material they aren't irritating her like stainless steel would. She seems to be just getting better, we haven't had any set backs. All we can do is wait it out and keep her comfortable as she heals.

We were feeding her live fuzzys (stunned of course), but I think once we decide to get her back to normal feedings we will be starting with pinkies to make sure everything passes normally without any strain. The last thing I want is for her to go through this again.

I am glad that your snake is doing better :) I lost an American toad to a prolapse years ago. I am glad that your snake can overcome this.
