Re: Help! Burn or Scale Rot?

Re: Help! Burn or Scale Rot?
i like how he gave himself advice! wow.... don't they sometimes put people in padded cells for schizophrenia? (sp?) never heard of online schizophrenia tho!
i give him and his friend here:handshake an A for creativity!
Re: Help! Burn or Scale Rot?
Did the double-post get re-added to the thread? Had she tried to delete the post after making it? I missed that the first time around. Anyway--it's amusing that she posted twice--especially since they're essentially the same but not identical. Interesting. I'm just glad that she finally managed to get herself banned. Ban-land is where she belongs.

The first post was waiting to be approved in the moderated que. Once it was approved, it showed up. Your mind isn't playing tricks on you.

Thanks for clearing it up, Robin ;) Wow...she really was pretty dense--and once she was in moderated status, there was no "oops! I posted this on the wrong alias" reaction to be had. I loves me some Admins and Moderators.

Re: Help! Burn or Scale Rot?
I just spent the last 20-30 minutes reading through this and some of the things he said, absolutely were mind baffling. I know he is now banned (possibly reading) but I just wanted to say/ask a few things that were on my mind, although not expecting a response.
First, ok so let's say the snake is not taken to the vet and is positively diagnosed by your "knowledgable friend" who claims that 2 layers of newspaper, a water bowl, and a SINGLE hide on the warm side is sufficient, what then? Does he have the means/antibiotics in order to bring the snake back to health? Any way to help a sick animal besides time costs MONEY that is something one has to understand when taking on the responsibility of owning any pet. Which brings me to my next point
How on EARTH could you be mad at your mother? Not only mad, but bursting out at her about doing the right thing? I live in an apartment in which I am not allowed to have anything over than 5g tank and fish only. I have a 20g tank with a ball python. It is YOUR pet, YOU take care of it, no matter how pissed off your mom is about you doing it. When you decide to succumb to your mom's pleadings to leave the snake at home, it is no longer YOUR responsibility, but it is hers. Therefore, as a mature adult, she did the right thing by taking it to the vet as she did not know of any other way to make your snake better.
Guess what? You need a reality check and need to grow up. You come to this forum that has many breeders/enthusiastics who are willing to take time out of their busy schedule to answer your questions. When you argue with every single person who posts advice, your reason for being here is pointless. Bring almost any question here and you will get as best a response as people can give. Unfortunately you do not care about the well-being of your pet enough to take care of it yourself. If it meant so much, it should've been with you, that's the bottom line. I'm glad you got what you deserved and hope you received an IP ban so you cannot come back and make yourself look more childish than you already are.
Sorry for the huge rant guys, but I just needed to get those things off my chest even though they've already been spoken.
