Nice nic, he looks like a mini version of my boy Thor:-)
You have similar tastes to me I think, every other clean boa looked the same as the last, I love a speckled boa.

Thanks! I checked out your thread for Thor and he's gorgeous! Baby boas are cute but seeing grown ones like yours gets me really excited for mine to get bigger haha. And I agree about the speckles! I probably mentioned this in this thread already but speckled snakes really grew on me and now I prefer them to "clean" ones. I love how locality boas look compared to Colombians :)

Rembrandt is really looking great, it’s nice to see the pinks and peaches starting to appear already, nics really are cool boas and pure locality too

Rembrandt suddenly started coming out every night to explore a few days ago - I was concerned at first but his environment is stable, so I guess he's gotten braver?? before this week, the most I'd see of him was usually a bit of his face poking out from his hide in evenings.

(there's water there because it's getting so dry here that it's defeating even the pvc+cypress much+bits of sphagnum moss combo, I've been misting religiously lol)

also, my cat's finally figured out the snake exists and is obsessed with watching his cage now.... I'm worried it's stressful for Remby but he's got lots of places to hide, and hasn't shown any defensiveness so I'm hoping it's ok :S

Gosh, for sure, I'm not complaining at all haha. Seeing him out is so awesome, it's like having a new pet altogether. I'm just surprised his behaviour changed quite suddenly - it's morning here now and he's chilling/sleeping out on his perch! First time I've ever seen that.

    Thanks Richard :D

Just shows in time they gain your trust and realise your not that much of a threat anymore
The colours on Hypo nics just get better with age so in a couple of years you will be shocked when you look back to how much they changed
