what generation are your Kalatoa's and current size?

Rather - I am hoping to get a pair of pure Kalatoas, later this year. I do not presently have any pure Kalatoas.

In fact all of the SD crosses that I presently have were all born in 2018.

My largest (75% Kalatoa, 12.5% Jampea p/h snow) is about 34-36 inches and weighs about 260 g, and about 11-12 months old.

My female Purple Suntiger is actually 25% Kalatoa(father was 50% Kalatoa) about 30-32 inches, and weighs about 180-200 g, and about 7 months old.

I’ve got a buddy with eggs incubating. They are in high demand so they’re definitely hard to find right now. Expect to be investing around $1k give or take for pure SD hatchlings from pretty much anyone breeding them

I have a female breeder corn snake that is currently 20g more than him.

Someone on another forum asked me about their temperament, so here are a few short handling vids I just took.

Well - pure Kalatoas are about $1K each(average price), but other SD localities are more expensive - if you can find them. Pure F1 Kayuadis are usually about $1,500-$2,000 each.

As for breeders who breeding them - Garrett Hartle of Reach Out Reptiles has a waiting list of at least 6 months for his pure Kalatoas. Samson Pruitt of Slither, Inc also has some pure Kalatoas, & pure F1 Kayuadis coming in the next few months.

I wouldn’t recommend Samson but I won’t try and derail this thread on that topic... simple google search will tell you all you need to know.

I don't mind talking about things that need said. When I got my guy before I even knew who Samson was he tried using intimidation tactics to push one of his retics on me and my wife. That doesn't doesn't work with us and we went with someone else. Not long after we found out more details about the man and his criminal record that involved animals. He was recently talked about on the YouTube channel from the ground up.

Well - I get they some people who may not like or trust Samson or any other breeder for what ever reason. But the main point I was going for is there are several breeders of pure SD locality retics out there. Garrett & Samson are just the only breeders that I have talked to, which I am certain are breeding pure SD localities - of at this time.

It is photo of one of the Dwarf Burms(progschai) I got from Bob Clark.

I am thinking about changing my avatar to one of my Kalatoa crosses.
