favorite beer!

this seems to be a topic i see on a lot of forums, but couldn't find here. so lets hear it- whats your favorite?

personally can't pass up a Guinness draught or a Sam Adams Boston Lager.

For kicking back and having a few beer, miller lite.

After a day of snake and turtle collecting down south, nothing beats a big bottle of King cobra. It hits you like a cobra too...

Miller Lite.. for me

I did the Miller tour in Millwaukee last year it was really cool.

Here in the Philly/South Jersey area, you can't beat an ice cold Yeungling... Back home in Kansas City, it was Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat... As a general stand-by, I drink Bud light since you can get it anywhere you go...

this time of year, i enjoy a bell's oberon... i also like sierra nevada pale ale.
plus i brew my own beers, which i must admit i am very partial to.

if i'm going for quantity over quality, i gotta go with miller lite or coors.

Killians, or Bud.... :)

Personally, I prefer a nice, ice cold glass of Jack n' Coke over anything though.

Gotta be Miller lite.....some times budweiser......every now and then throw in a Michelob Ultra:cool:

Well here is where the men are men and the boy drink piss.

Samual Adams Creamy stout. Dark beer..
Arogant Bastard Dark Brew
and I tried this Aussie beer taht was Coopers somthing or other type of lager.

Dark beer for me. No animal piss.. :8:

Oh my god I love Yuengling! I wish I could somehow get some here in Michigan.

If and when I drink it's Shiner all the way and Michelob ultra occasionally

Red Stripe is "ok". A little too sweet for my tastes. I prefer Blue Moon over that, or Presidente.

I thought I would like red stripe, the first few sips is ok... but after that nadda.

I'm a liquor girl, love me some captain n coke, vodka and red bull, jager, jager bombs lol. Not a huge fan of beer.

My most expensive drink? $24 for one 8 oz glass of purple rain. Top shelf. Wow, that kicked my ass. :gj:

lager = Stella Artois or Flying Horse
ale = Old Speckled Hen
stout = Guinness

If the budget is limited, then Pacifico is good...if the budget is really limited, Miller High Life.

I can't drink vodka because I will end up fighting everyone in the bar... that's the violence drink.

Liquor wise... Crown is king and I do love me some Goldschlager!

Sierra Nevada IPA

Been stuck on those two for a while now....

I really like the Abbey Triple from Sprecher Brewing Co. Great beer that packs a punch. Its almost 8.5 percent alcohol. It also has a very long shelf life so it can be stored for years and still enjoyed.

ooooh gotta love the Old Empire top notch IPA and for a bit more depth and flavor Hobgoblin is good and if you can handle it Old Tom is very nice at 8.5%

See if you can find someone who serves Patron Platinum ;) Normally its $21-26 a shot! Its probably the smoothest, best tasting tequila around, next to Cabo Wabo.

I've tried Captain n' Coke, but I'm not a huge fan. Jager bombs are awesome, but so are Cherry Bombs..(Cherry Bombs are a shot of Vodka, 2 shots Red Bull, Shot of Cranberry juice, on the rocks, with a cherry ;))

Tequila....now THAT is a fighting drink! A couple more shots of it after that, and its a 'wake up wondering what you did that night' kind of drink.... :rofl:

For me it really depends on what I'm doing: bar-b-q I'll be inclined to a heinekin, when its REALLY hot I like to have a refreshing wheat beer, and I can have amber bock any time :D

I'll drink anything but Tequilla. I cant have that anymore... I drank to much of it in... hs lol

I've never appreciated the taste of beer....
I love the taste of a rich, traditional Chardonnay...yummmm....
On a summer party day nothing beats pitchers of margaritas..... yeah, keep 'em coming!
On a cold and dreary and lazy morning, nothing beats a shot of espresso Kahlua in my coffee!

It depends on the food. For Cajun, Abita Amber, Purple Haze or Torbodog. For SW, gotta be Cave Creek Chili Beer. For Italian, Moretti or Peroni. You get the drift.

I drink a lot of Sam Adams myself. If I can get Spotted Cow, I'll pick it up though (I gotta go to WI to get it.)

I enjoy a good Blue Moon...and since I'm on the world beer tour at Old Chicago's, I always try something new when I go.

For me Heiniken is the best beer, but also I enjoy better Dewars White Label with coconut water.

Miller Lite for me on a regular day.

If I want to splurge, I'll pick up some Maudite.

Stoney Creek Vanilla Porter...now that's some good stuff, but I haven't been able to find it since I moved away from Michigan.

I just found a place here in FL that stocks Shiner...mmmm. That's good too.

never been a fan of the wheat beers, but the sam white ale is pretty good...

Sam Cream Stout (or any other stout) is also one of my favorite

I like Coors Light way better than Bud Light... that stuff is blechh.
Has anyone ever had Magic Hat beers? I once had this beer called Magic Hat 9, and it was verrry good. I think it's from Vermont, so it might just be local around these parts.

well some call me picky but i like fresh beer and good beer so i only go to small microbrewys. theres one over here called Dragonmead and they have a beer that they make only a once a year thats is the best beer you will ever have. it's called Armageddon Grand Cru and it's 12%. and they will be makeing it in two weeks starting in may. so you know i will be there and getting my Growler filled

I love beer with alcohol in it. thats my only stipulation for beer.

Hmm Bud, Bud light, Coors, Coors Light, MGD, and Lonestar. I'll add more to the list when they come to me lol.

you want a real beer try your local microbrew they have all the real beers. and if your lucky they might even offer real ale which is made like they did in the days of old. it's Cask-conditioned beer now thats real beer. heres a link to one of the best brewerys out there IMO www.dragonmead.com
