I wonder what the price tag would be on that snake... what are usually the prices for first-time produced morphs? 25k?

depends on how many of them are actually around at the time. i have seen animals when they first hit at $100,000. i mean when you think about it if you were the only one in the world with one you could price it at what ever you want. we should be seeing some really crazy stuff over the next 5 years and going forward.

Actually, the german name for that cow is Holsteiner. Schleswig-Holstein is a state in the north of Germany, the place where these cows come from :)

If a person places a $100,000 price tag on an animal it means they're not giving that animal up unless they get $100,000 for it.

The price-tag on an animal reflects what a person is willing to take before giving up that animal. And there are some animals that don't get price-tags at all because the owner wouldn't take anything for them... I know I would never give up Kinkers :snake:

And if I made the first Holstein ball, I seriously doubt anyone would be able to pay me enough to take it off my hands!

I think he is referring to something along the lines of a Super Pastel Clown, which is double homo for both clown and pastel.:gj:

I have a couple pictures of Gulf Coast Reptiles' Black Pastel Pied. One I found on another forum a while back, and the other Sheila, of Gulf Coast Reptiles, sent me when I was inquiring about Black Pastel Poss Het Pieds last month. I don't want to post them since they aren't my images though.

    Here's the pic that's online:

Black Pastel Pied (picture and animal owned by Gulf Coast Reptiles):

    http://gallery.kingsnake.com/data/20...lackpastel.gif

I assume that this pic was taken before the animal's first shed since it still has that "glossy" look to it. I'll e-mail Sheila and ask if I can post the other pic. The other pic is after the first shed and the Black Pastel Pied looks even better!

I'll let you know if I'm allowed to post it.

Right now, I'd bet it might be hard to get any breeder to part with one. They are the stepping stone neccasary to get to the oreo ball.
That said, I'd bet that they'd end up in the $20K range. Just guessing.
Give it a few years, and they'll come down a lot. I'm not going to catch up!!! Oh noes! Well, I'll trail along behind with cinnamons instead.
Gorgeous pictures, and I see what you mean about the second pic looking even HOTTER. Thanks so much for going through the trouble to post them, especially since you had to ask permission!

I was thinking... this might be a solid color snake?

The lesser pied is all white and since the lesser is conected to the bel i can see this happening, and since the super cinny or black pastel is all black( or grey) the super pied might be too?

    Just a thought,Matt
