Hi Lisa! I haven't taken any pictures of my adult enclosure per se, but this tub is the same one that I use for my 1600 gram female.

The difference is that instead of the three hides, there is a small kitty litter pan inside turned upside down with an entrance "door" soldered in . It's big enough that she can thermoregulate inside the kitty litter pan, but dark enough that she still feels secure (as attested to by her amazing feeding response each weeK - LOL).

It's the 1986 model of Sterlite. I've included the link, so that you can see the measurements and find something similar.

Are you still thinking about using a tub setup? They are great for easy clean up, security and insulation.

Here is a picture of our Vision cages while we were still getting things set up and settled in. We have also set up a small tub rack, and eventually only the big snakes will be in the visions.

Wow after seeing some of these pics I'm almost embarrassed to post little Muirne's home LOL. Oh well, very basic Sterlite 35 qt (I'd liked to have put her in a 28 but they were out of them), newspaper substrate, water dish, two terracotta hides and an Acu-Rite. There is a snake in there too but she didn't want to have her picture taken today LOL.

    http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...MuirnesTub.jpg

Just make sure the tub you pick has a really decent lock/snap type closure...the snap on lids won't cut it. You may also want to add extra things like binder clips, etc. to make sure the snake can't sneak out (they can get out even the slightest give in their tub lids).

I will get a few enclosure pics and post them tonight;i basically use a 40g long (breeder) sized tank for my adult female, a 30g long tank for my male and my subadult female. I plan on building something custom soon, with a wooden frame (polyurethaned inside, or maybe lined with glass, and of course glass floors to accomodate the heating element) and glass fronts that slide into the frame and act as doors.
By the way Lisa, welcome to the forum! I like your little signature piccy thingy, very creative.

Here are my BP setups. The lights atop them are just for viewing purposes, not heating; all have UTHs on a thermostat under the hot hides.

Ginger's place: 40g tank, same footprint as a 55g but shorter height.. the water dish looks odd because there's areas under it without substrate and the dish is clear; it's not dirt lol.
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...gingerhome.jpg

Bella's place; 20g long. She is almost outgrowing it.

LaVey's bachelor pad (30g long size.)

I've got five hides, only two of which get used regularly, a piece of driftwood that I had to cut down to size, a branch I picked up at Petco, a humid hide, and some fake plants that Austin likes to climb around. I also cut some holes in the sides of the egg carton just to give him something unique to check out, and surprisingly he seems to like it.
Aspen for the substrate, built in belly heating coil, Herpstat Thermostat, Accurite Thermometer, Spray bottle of water, spray bottle of Chlorhex for cleaning, and a CHE on the cool side to keep ambient temps up. Also have a second Herpstat on the way for the CHE. I think that covers it, oops also have a fluorescent light on a timer, also convenient for cleaning.

    Hi Cassandra,

Sorry it took so long to get back to this thread. Busy weekend being a Dad :). Spirit resides in the left side middle cage. That is also where the temp probes go ( I switched to a Heptstat II, one probe for the back and one for the front). Blaze is in the top left cage below the empty space (which is for Sunny). I am covering the gap between the two cases with another piece of melamine so all of the cords will be hidden, but easily accessible.

Mr Python, the wood looks great!!! It is cool to see the setups others are using ... and I am using some help and suggestions from Cue on my tub rack, I just wish I could build it back into the wall like he did ... :sweeet:

it was actually pretty easy. in the center divide we cut a little slit where the flexwatt could slide thru and we cut another little slot where the flexwatt enters on the side. ill try to get some pictures of it later so you can see the whole rack.

the wood enclosure doesnt have a UTH so i couldnt tell you how to go about that.
