I gave Fatt Butt a p/k rat in her tub last night and this morning it was gone. :D She went from 2100 grams down to 1300. She should easily put most of that back on.

Thanks everyone!!! :sweeet: I will try to answer everyones questions. She was 2100 grams before ovulation, she was originally was to be bred to a Joliff axanthic male 50% het albino. They looked like they locked (but not a positive) once in Dec and the male "lost interest", so after trying for another month with no copulations we decided to switch her boyfriend to my male albino. They went on to copulate 6 times together from Feb - April. She ovulated on 4-17, shed on 5-4 and laid on 6-2. Expected hatch date is 8-1. I had bred a pair of het pieds, but it doesnt look like she took this year. :confuzd:

Thanks!!! It was a great surprise to get 8 eggs from my 3-5 guess. They are setup and still looking great, nice white and plump!! :D 3 days down, 57 to go. LOL!!

If everything goes well (fingers crossed, knock on wood, etc.) we will be keeping 1 or 2 females and will sell the rest. I will write you down on my list and let you know when they hatch to see if you are still interested. Better start working on the wife now, she should be softened up by the beginning of August. LOL!!!! :)

Hmmm my birthday's August 15! Let me just calculate the odds of getting an albino BP for my birthday this year.............

Well since it will be a few years before Mike and I have a chance to hatch out an albino I'll just live through your experience Bill. Well either that or I pack up the family, the snakes, the rat colony (and hopefully a new puppy soon) and come live in your garage till your clutch hatches. Either works for me! LMAO

As a matter of fact I do!!! Cable tv, high speed internet, refridgerator, picnic table and a microwave, all in the garage!! I even have a screened-in garage door. LOL!!!! :)

Not soo bad now that I have baby boas to take care of. :D

Tomorrow will be day 20 and we will be 1/3 of the way through incubation. Woo Hooo!!! We quickly candled the eggs last night and they all have healthy veins and look good. We even seen about four of the baby snakes jump as if to say "hey shut off that light"!!! LOL!!

thats awsome, maybe I should candle mine and see if any babies jump (day 27)

Yeah, I am keeping busy trying not to think about it too much. LOL!! Luckily my baby boas sould be shedding soon, so I will be able to feed them soon. Plus I am doing my Fedex certification and my website, I got plenty of distractions!! :)

I have found that in this business, there is always something to do.

Wow; I didn't realize that you could see them move now. I didn't notice with mine today, but I will look into it next candling.

Bill, halfway is great, but it also means that you have to do that all over again. Waiting for eggs to hatch sucks. How are those eggs looking. I can't wait to see some baby albinos.
